Howard Jones - Head of GAM Group Business Finance
Howard Jones is the Head of GAM Group Business Finance. He is responsible for the core management information (MI) activities of the Group.
He leads a team of Finance Business Partners supporting the business heads with MI and decision support. He also has responsibility for leading the Group-wide business planning & forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives. Howard has worked in the financial industry since 1995. Prior to joining GAM in January 2016 he was a Specialist Consultant at Grant Thornton UK LLP and previous to this he worked at Lloyds Banking Group for 5 years in various senior positions. Howard has previous buy-side experience gained in senior finance positions at Legg Mason and Citigroup. Howard is a qualified Chartered accountant (ACA) and holds a BCOMM (ACC) in accountancy from the University of Birmingham. He is based in London.
