Disclosure of shareholdings according to the Swiss Federal Stock Exchange Act

MFS Investment Management (Boston, MA, USA) informed that it and its subsidiaries MFS Institutional Advisors Inc. (MFSI), MFS International Ltd. (MIL), MFS International ("UK") Ltd. (MIL UK), MFS Heritage Trust Co. (MFSHE), MFS International Management KK (MIM KK) and MFS Investment Management ("LUX") S.A. (MIM LUX) together hold as a result of acquiring shares on 3 April 2008 a total of 7'024'972 registered shares in Julius Baer Holding Ltd., representing 3.15% of the voting rights.
